Business operations and technology leader Suja Chandrasekaran joins Safe Security’s Board of Advisors

Safe Security is delighted to announce the appointment of Suja Chandrasekaran to its Board of Advisors. She has led several cybersecurity transformations in her career, taking businesses to higher levels of defense, resilience, and regulatory adherence. She is a thought leader in digital business models and transformation and has applied design principles to embrace cybersecurity, controls, privacy, and regulatory needs.

Saket Modi, Co-founder, and CEO of Safe Security, said, “Suja comes with vast experience in scaling multiple global businesses. She brings business, cybersecurity, deep technology leadership, and expertise to the team. We welcome Suja’s multi-industry experience and vast network.”

Suja has shaped complex risk approach methodologies, as a practitioner, in the industry pertaining to cyber defense, privacy, and regulatory needs, that apply to Cyber Risk Quantification and Management (CRQ and CRQM). Having led tech and digital globally at Walmart Inc (NYSE: WMT), CommonSpirit Health, Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB), The Timberland Company (NYSE: VFC), Nestle S.A (SIX: NESN), she brings product and platform-building expertise to collaborate closely with our Product and User Experience Teams.

Suja shared, “I am excited to work with Safe Security because it is filling a void in cybersecurity risk management that businesses worldwide are struggling to cope with. Cybersecurity poses an operational risk, and security leaders are under scrutiny from governments and regulatory bodies to demonstrate that they effectively manage cyber risk. The efforts to discover or reduce the financial risk from cybersecurity threats remain siloed and point-in-time. The SAFE platform empowers security leaders, Boards, and CXOs with a real-time and quantified view of their cybersecurity risk posture and guides defensible dollar-driven cybersecurity strategies. I look forward to blending tech and cyber to create business value.”

Suja is currently a board member at Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO), Blume Global Technologies, and Agendia Inc.
